Gary Hoeber, MFT
Gary has been working as a psychotherapist since 1976, helping a broad range of people successfully deal with a wide variety of life challenges. He is a leading practitioner and teacher of group psychotherapy. His approach to group therapy is highly interpersonal, assisting in the development of effective communication and relationship skills and increasing the capacity for intimacy, friendship and community. His work with individuals focuses on the unfolding of one's life purpose, using a depth psychology informed by poetry, story and mythology. Gary is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 17871). He is also an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at John F. Kennedy University.

Kamala Gilette
Kamala joins our psychotherapy practice, bringing a wealth of professional, business experience, and a well-developed intuitive perspective. She combines solid therapeutic acumen with an accepting, life affirming, spiritual background. She views life as an ever unfolding journey and can facilitate an individual’s self-discovery, self-awareness and self-actualization. She has therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. Kamala specializes in working with body image issues, from everyday concerns about weight and health, to more serious eating disorders, such as bulimia, binge eating and anorexia.

Rulik Perla, MFT Intern, IMF 41079
Rulik is a profoundly patient, accepting and skilled practitioner, who is committed to real change. He is especially adept at addressing the psychological concerns of people who endeavor to travel a spiritual path. He draws on a life of practical spirituality, decades of business experience and a wealth of diverse cultural interests. In working with couples and families, he is frequently amazed how learning basic communication and listening skills can transform a downward spiraling relationship into an ascending and loving one. Rulik’s life and work continue to be inspired by a passion for music, sailing and deep friendships. Rulik is working with individuals, couples and groups.
